This Woman Really Did Love Me
I didn’t deserve this woman. I didn’t deserve her love. This woman really did love me with all her heart.
What is the definition of love? Men have their perception and women have theirs. Men have been programmed that if a woman fucks you she loves you and young woman have been programmed that if a man buys shit for you, he loves you.
If you ask the person that you're romantically involved with what love is they'd stumble to find the words to describe it. We all swear we love people but if we measured it against what the Bible says love is, we would fail considerably.
People will say that I don't know what I'm talking about. But for those non Bible readers, let's put it to the test:
1st Corinthians 13 says: Love is patient - but how many of us are inpatient with the ones we so-called love?
Love is kind - how many times can we count the times we've been unkind to the ones we love. It does not envy - has jealousy reared it's ugly head?
It does not boast - how many times have you done something nice for someone you love then bragged about it.
It is not rude. It is not self seeking - how many of us have been in relationships where is all about me, me, me?
It is not easily angered - everybody knows when a muthafucker's in love, he'll blow up real quick at the slightest hint of betrayal.
It keeps no records of wrongs - everybody that's ever been in a relationship, know in their heart that they remember what that person has done to hurt them even if they don't bring it up.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects. Always hopes. Always perseveres. Love never fails.
When you find this kind of love, you better hold on tight and never let go because this is the kind of love that comes from God.
