This is How All Criminals Get Caught

I thought, This was how all criminals get caught—they know they’re on the radar; but they just can’t stop chasing the money.

It always amazes me how some criminals, the ones that make tons of money, are so smart. They run the equivalent of corporate companies in structure. Some are mathematical geniuses. Yet when they know that the cops are on to them, instead of just packing up shop, enjoying the money they've made and getting out of the spot light, muthafuckers think they're smarter than the cops. They think that they'll never get caught. Some are so arrogant as to taunt the cops. For people that are so smart, that's some dumb ass shit.

In the old days, the criminal mastermind would live in a one bedroom apartment, drive a ten year old car, buy non descript clothes and have a million dollars inside the walls of his apartment. No one ever knew who he was because he kept a low profile. That's why they got to live into their old age without spending half of their life in jail. They knew when to stop chasing the money.

Sometimes people can be too smart for their own good.

Stay out of the limelight, keep a low profile and get to the finish line on top.
