I Was a Rising Star
I was a rising star at one time not so long ago, and now I was just a man ass out on his luck, with nothing.

What goes up must come down. There's no shame in stumbling and falling. It's when a muthafucker falls and instead of pulling himself up by the bootstraps, they want the world to pity them. Woe is me. Everybody falls sometimes. What makes you a special person is when you see someone fall, you help them up.
No matter how bad you're doing, there's always somebody doing worse. Now if you're that type of asshole, that on your climb to the top, you like to step on people, then you deserve everything you get.
One thing is for sure, when you're down on your luck, you really know who your friends are. When I was ass out on my luck, I could count my friends on my hands and had seven fingers left.

The true nature of a man is not evident when he is on top of the world.
The true nature of a man reveals itself when a man is at the lowest he can go. The true man rises above his adversities with self determination, self respect and self confidence. These are things that money can't buy.
