You See How This Shit Feels?

“You see how this shit feels? And you’re trying to hit me in the face and head with it, bitch.”

I saw a man beat my mother in the street like she was a dog.  He knocked her to the ground and dragged her by her hair, half of a block.

In the ghetto, I've seen men beat women down for mere infractions.  I don't mean a slap in the face.  I've seen women punched in the face.  The intent behind these men were to abuse, break and humiliate these women.  Those are pussy muthafuckers.  Those are the type of muthafuckers that would never stand up to another man unless he was smaller than him.  Fuck those muthafuckers!

Now there is another side to domestic violence.  Let's set the record straight.  Any man that says he is physically abused by a woman is a straight up pussy! A real man, if a woman steps out of place, would check her one way or another, correctly.  He might leave her.  He definitely won't let her walk all over him and he's definitely not going to lay his hands on her to control her.

What happens when raw emotions get in the way and couples start to fight?  Men do have an advantage because they are usually bigger and stronger but what do you do when a woman is swinging a frying pan at your head or trying to hit you in the head with a heavy vase?  She may even be trying to run you down with her car.  Let's be truthful, when a woman is angry, especially when it comes to infidelity, would she be willing to sit down and discuss it rationally.

I've had a woman pull a trigger on me.  I've had a woman set my car on fire.  I've had a woman drain my bank account and humiliate me in front of my family and friends on epic scales.  All of this happened because they were mad at me.  On more than one occasion, I've had a woman pull a knife and threaten to stab me with it.  But, with all this, I was never an abusive man.  I might have yelled or given the silent treatment, but I never ever contemplated or have ever punched a woman in her face.  I've never knocked a woman to ground and never had a her trembling in fear of when I got home.  I have, however, defended myself.

What is the fine line between couples fighting and domestic abuse because by today's standards, yelling, pushing, throwing shit, and making hollow threats, are all crimes whether you are a man or a woman?
