I’m Out of Here!
"I’m done. I can’t do this anymore. I can’t be with a woman I can’t trust. I’m out of here!"
I'm leaving. It's over. I don't want to be with you no more. Fuck off! Kiss my ass! It's not you, it's me. I'm just not feeling it. I'm tired of this shit. I can't take it no more. I'm out of here! This is it!
Those are the many words anyone that has been in a relationship has either heard or spoken. Those brutal words, no matter how long you've been in a relationship, no matter how many kids you have, not even if you donated your kidney to them, when you hear them you're never ready for them. When you speak them, it never goes according to plan.
Every adult has contemplated when they were going to leave someone they knew was not right for them. The contemplation was endless. The time, the place, the date, all meticulously planned. But when you finally say those brutal words, or hear them, it's over.
What's so funny is that people always know it's coming, when you're on the receiving end, but nothing can prepare you. It's like getting hit in the head with a baseball bat. You beg, you plead, you make promises to change for the person to stay but when it's over, it's over. When the trust is gone, you're gone.
Bottom line, if you can't trust someone, you can't be with them.
Have you spoke or heard those brutal words?
